ARCHIVED Year 6 Blog 2024/25

 This term, year 6 are focussing on their map skills. Today they recapped how to use their 4 and 6 grid references as well as scale on a map and their compass points. As they will be visiting London in the next few weeks, they used all their skills on a treasure hunt.   Fantastic effort to all. 

 Year 6 found out about French Easter traditions and how the French celebrate Easter. They learnt some Easter vocabulary which they then used to complete a crossword puzzle. 

  Spring B Unit: Resurrection Religion: Christianity Key Question:  Why is resurrection important to Christians? We enjoyed a really thoughtful and deep-thinking discussion involving the importance of resurrection to Christians and how Jesus is the only prophet to come back to life.
